February Fly Tying Night with Capt. Mike Kozma

It's the first of the month!

February 1st is your opportunity to learn to tie from a seasoned Florida Keys guide (no, he doesn't yell)! Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us at our table with materials, vise, tools, and a beverage or two! Captain Mike Kozma has been guiding out of Islamorada for 15+ years and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to targeting Florida Keys' favorite species: tarpon, bonefish and permit. Capt. Kozma will be tying his favorite little black tarpon fly, and will go over the correct way to execute various tying techniques like dubbing loops and weed guards. 

We'll have some food, beverages and enough materials to tie at least 2 flies. Our fly tying material selection is vast, so if there is a material, tool, or something else that you forgot or feel inclined to try, the register is open to make that happen!

Who: Anyone! It does not matter if you are a pro, novice, or someone who just wants to come hang!

*Space is limited! There are 12 seats around the Seven Mile Fly Shop's tying table, and all will fill up, so sign up early to secure your seat.
